Another day brings another big win for Rockstar! Last month, I was named an honoree of the Houston Business Journal’s list of Most Admired CEOs. It’s an honor I could only have received with a team behind me that believes in me and our ability to achieve our goals as a company.

We’re back with another episode of The Apartment Rockstar Podcast! This time, we’re featuring Izzy Garza of Maintenance Supply. Izzy and Maintenance Supply have been long-time partners of Rockstar and it’s only natural he’d be on the show at some point.

This is a truly bustling week for Rockstar! I’m proud to announce that we have received our first-ever international award recognition in the form of The Stevie Award’s Great Employers! It’s an incredible distinction that I couldn’t be more proud to achieve. Specifically, I’m proud of our incredible management teams that make Rockstar an incredible place to work, worthy of worldwide recognition.

With our stated goal of reaching 10,000 units, activity is heavy. However, another prime opportunity has been identified and due diligence has come again at Rockstar!  We’ve been down to Alvin, Texas in order to look at our next potential acquisition and make our game plan for giving it the #Rockstarliving touch.  Most importantly, it’s our chance to make sure this property will be able to meet our expectations, as well as that of our investors.

In this day and age, your options for a platform to tell your story are practically infinite. Between social media, podcasts, blogs, and video, you can take your pick of a multitude of websites offering unique audiences you previously would never reach. Finding these platforms isn’t always an easy task, but the harder you look, the more people you can reach. As we’ve said before, brand recognition is everything.

Greenspace is the devil. It’s a phrase you’ve probably heard me say in almost every one of our #RockstarRehab videos. When we focus on the rehab of a recently purchased property, we’re always looking at what amenities we can add. There’s always something that can be added to a property to improve both its value and its appeal to a future resident. Usually, this is where greenspace comes into play.
